Hotel description:
Built on the original structures of a former Dominican monastery of the 1400, today the most famous monastery - Hotel in the world. The original structure is still intact, it is surrounded by a garden filled all year round with flowers of rare beauty.
Location: The hotel is centrally located in the city of Taormina, and the beach is five kilometers from the hotel with own shuttle bus service.
Size: 105 Rooms and Suites located in two different wings: the 14th century Convent and the Grand Hotel, a construction in neoclassic style, added to the hotel on 1896. Both reflect history and tradition without sacrificing modern comforts and conveniences. Each room is equipped with individual climate control, direct dial telephone, hairdryer,minibar,satellite TV, private safety deposit box, alarm o’clock and radio. Unique red-lacquer furniture, specially imported from Asia for the important guest, includes tables, chairs, and other pieces, in addition to an elegant, feminine dressing table and an old, wrought-iron bed. One of the two large windows looks onto the ancient Greek theatre, the other on the sea.

Congress facilities can accommodate up to 400 people. The main restaurant opened all year round, combines friendly and attentive service in elegant surroundings. One restaurant opened only in summer season, with spectacular view of Greek Theatre.
A pool side restaurant serves Sicilian specialities. A bar where the musical melodies of a pianist, creates a magic atmosphere.
