Tour program:
Day 1 - Rome
Arrival in Rome Accommodation in a Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Rome
Breakfast. Full day guided tour of the most impressive and characteristic places of the "Eternal City" a walking tour hosted by our Art Historian guides of the most important renaissance and baroque squares of Rome: Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza St. Ignazio, Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo. In the evening we organize for you a concert in the "SS. Bartolomeo and Alessandro Church" a wonderful Church at Piazza Colonna, historical heart of Rome. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Rome
Breakfast. In the morning visit of the Vatican and the Vatican Museums or Pope's Audience. We can give you the possibility to sing during the Pope audience. In the afternoon free time for shopping. Our tour escort will accompany you in the most beautiful shopping streets of Rome, famous all around the world.
Concert in one of the beautiful squares or in a church in a town of the "Castelli Romani", the Roman Hills. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 4 - Assisi
Breakfast. Departure to Assisi. Before arriving at Assisi, stop at the wonderful medieval town of Orvieto, where you can admire one of the most famous Dome of the world. Arrival in Assisi.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 - Florence
Breakfast. Departure to Sant'Antimo (South of Montalcino). Listen to the monks singing and then a performance of the choir with a few songs with the monks. The Abbazia is very famous, still not known to everyone, for the genuine "Gregorian Chant" without music, only human voice. It is known as the "The singing stone" for its particular travertine marble its nave is build in. Then visit of Montalcino and guided tour of San Gimignano. Arrival in Florence. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Florence
Full day in Florence. Guided visit of Florence. Florence is built on the Arno's banks, in a harmonious settings of hills full of houses and villas. The main city of Tuscany has a universal reputation of wonderful richness and high quality of monuments and art treasures. Florence is considered the "Queen of Renaissance" and you will have the opportunity to see its world wide famous art treasure: The Dome, the Giotto Tower, the Baptistery, the Signoria Square, the church of Santa Croce and the bridge over the River Arno. Choral performance in one of the wonderful churches of Florence. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 -Pisa
Departure for Pisa. Visit of the famous Tower. Concert in front of the tower of Pisa or in a church. Travel to Lucca, the natal city of Puccini and visit of this famous medieval town. Return to Florence. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 -Siena
Departure to Siena. On the way stop at the famous Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore, a wonderful Church, with an enchanting charm, where we can have the possibility to have a Choir performance. Arrival in Siena and guided tour of this famous and magnificent Tuscan city. Return to Florence Dinner and overnight.
Day 9 -Venice
Breakfast. Departure to Venice. Arrival in Venice. Half day guided tour of Classica Venice, also known as "La Serenissima". Entering Venice is like leaving behind reality for a world of fantasy and you lose the conscience of space, time and you get involved in the magic atmosphere that glitters on its channels, on its bridges, places and squares. Dinner and overnight in Venice, near St. Marco Square.
Day 10 -Bergamo
Breakfast. Morning free. In the afternoon departure for Bergamo, another wonderful medieval town, built on hills, where you feel like leaving in another period. Possibility to meet a famous choir in Bergamo and have a concert with them. A wonderful Farewell Dinner and overnight in the surroundings of Bergamo-Milan.
Day 11 -Milan
Breakfast. A guided tour of Milan by bus and departure.
We will organize your choir tour with meetings and concerts with other Italian and foreign choirs.
