Cooking Lessons at the Italian Lakes
Accommodations are at Villa d'Este, one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. It is a former 16th century princely residence, surrounded by a 25 acres park. The luxury and magnificence totals 152 rooms. The main house built in 1568 and known as the Cardinal's building counts 125 rooms while the trompe l'oeil masterpiece known as the Queen's Pavilion, inaugurated in 1860 has 27 rooms. Set on the shores of Lake Como, the villa is located in one of the most important crossroads between Italy and Northern Europe and 45 minutes from Milan.
About the lessons: Chef Parolari has been the chef at Villa d'Este for 20 years. His recipes have been the inspiration for two cookbooks. You will learn how to create regional dishes Milanese-style. During your five days you'll enjoy all the comforts and luxuries of the Villa d'Este, while being immersed in the gastronomy, art and leisure of a beautiful region.

Sample Program
Day 1
Afternoon arrival at Villa d'Este. Dinner on your own.
Day 2
Enjoy the Villa d'Este's sumptuous buffet breakfast. Morning cooking class with Chef Luciano. Lunch follows the lesson, accompanied by wines of Northern Italy. Your afternoon is free to explore the villa's gardens and the small village of Cernobbio.
Late afternoon wine tasting. Evening at leisure.
Day 3
A delicious buffet breakfast starts your day. Then it's time for a second cooking class, focusing on a variety of regional dishes.
Lunch follows the lesson, accompanied by local wines. Enjoy a beauty treatment in the hotel's spa. Evening at leisure.
Day 4
After breakfast, join Chef Luciano for the third cooking class followed by lunch. Tonight celebrate your stay at Villa d'Este with a gala dinner.
Day 5
Buffet breakfast and morning departure.
