Cooking Lessons in Florence
Accommodations and cooking lessons take place at Villa Pandolfini which is located 15 kilometers from Florence The villa is easily accessible by car from Florence in 20 minutes and by train it takes just 15 minutes. The 12th century villa is decorated with antiques, frescoed ceilings, a refreshing loggia and a fabulous Renaissance garden. The villa has incredible decor with frescoes, mirrors with gold gilt, terracotta floors and elegant columns carved in stone. The rooms have been elegantly structured with silk curtains with an antique crystal chandelier and ornate fireplaces. The estate grows their own olives, fruits and vegetables. They also produce their own wine which are all used as the ingredients for the cooking classes.
About the lessons: Experienced chefs lead you through a journey of the gastronomic delights of Tuscany and specialize in Tuscan & Italian seasonal dishes. There are single day cooking classes, multi day cooking classes and a week long gastronomical adventure.

Sample Program
Day 1: Saturday
Arrival at the Villa Pandolfini Estate, Orientation and Benevenuto Dinner begin your adventure on Saturday afternoon. Explore the estate, make friends with the chefs who will be your teachers for the week and relax in the sylvan surroundings of the villa. Have a welcome dinner the “Benvenuto Dinner” in the villa’s historical fourteenth century kitchen.
Day 2: Sunday
Today you will begin on your magical journey into the heart of the Tuscan countryside, driving through the Chianti Valleys, the Sienese Crete and the Val d’Orcia. You will explore medieval villages and ancient castles. You will visit one of the popular
vineyards in the region and get the opportunity to taste their famous wines and salami. Another highlight of the day is a visit to a cheese factory to witness the process of how the world famous “Pecorino” cheese is made. You will have lunch at one of the charming medieval towns in Southern Tuscany.
Day 3: Monday
Cooking Classes begin today you will be given an introduction to Tuscan cooking. Your lunch will consist of all the food you have prepared. In the afternoon you can relax and enjoy the pleasures of the villa or you can opt for the “Additional Activities” and tours offered by us.
Day 4: Tuesday
Cooking Classes Continue today you will learn the seasonal and traditional dishes, which are an integral part of Tuscan cuisine. You will get to prepare Antipasti and Desserts. In the afternoon you can relax or take the “Additional Activities” and tours offered by us.
Day 5: Wednesday
Visit to Mercato Centrale, Lunch and afternoon in Florence.
Today you will travel to Florence and explore the ancient markets in Florence. Our chefs will guide you through the multi levels of the marketplace. Florentines have been using this market for purchasing fresh produce through the ages and this is truly a fascinating experience.
Day 6: Thursday
Cooking Classes continue “Zuppe E Rissoti” today you will continue forward on your journey exploring the ancient and beloved secrets of Tuscan cooking. You will also have a feast of all the tasty dishes you have prepared for lunch.
Day 7: Friday
Today you will visit a local market and also have lunch in a medieval hamlet. You will also begin preparing for the Farewell Dinner for which your partners are also invited.
Day 8: Saturday
It's time for you to leave Villa Pandolfini but not before you have had a wonderful farewell breakfast and then you may checkout taking home a basket full of memories and recipes.
