DAY 1 Naples:
Upon arrival to Naples a private
driver will transfer you to your hotel for the
reminder of the day at leisure.
DAY 2 Naples:
After Breakfast, you will
be picked up at your hotel for a full-day
tour of Naples which includes an excursion
to Pompeii. Every day (except Dec. 25th and
Jan. 1st) - Full day - Approx 8 hours. Your
local English-speaking guide will begin a
short city tour crossing the historical center
to see Piazza Del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace,
the Basilica of San Francesco Di Paola, the
San Carlo Opera House, the Gallery of
Umberto I and the imposing Maschio Angioino.
Upon leaving the city, you will cross the fertile valley of
Mount Vesuvius, passing the villages of
Ercolano, Torre del Greco and Torre Annunziata before finally arriving at Pompeii where you will stop for a short lunch before visiting the excavations. After your meal a local guide will take us on an approx 2 hour archeological journey on foot to see some of what have been discovered in approx 1900 years since Pompeii was covered by ashes during the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79 AD. At the end of the visit to Pompeii we will then return to Naples at the Beverello Pier. During this excursion we will visit a Coral and a Cameo factory where we will have the opportunity to inspect and purchase items of this ancient craft dating back to the Greek times.
The tour ends at this location, drop off to your hotel is not included.
N.B. We suggest that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes for this excursion, and to wear sunglasses and sun hats in the summer months.
DAY 3 Sorrento:
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Sorrento, the rest of the day is at your leisure.
DAY 4 Sorrento:
After breakfast, day at leisure or take the boat to visit another famous island of Ischia or Capri
DAY 5 Positano:
After breakfast, you will be transfer to Positano the rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 6 Positano:
After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private guide for a half day tour to Ravello and Amalfi.
DAY 7 Positano:
After breakfast at your hotel the entire day is at your leisure or plan an optional tour.
DAY 8 Depart: After breakfast, private to Naples rail station or airport.
