Day 1
Arrival at Rome Fco airport. Meet & Greet with your local tour guide. Transfer by private bus to Rome, accommodation at your centrally located 4 star hotel. Rest of the day free. In the late afternoon transfer to a typical restaurant on the Ancient via Appia, for special welcome dinner with music, including wine. Return to the hotel after dinner.
Day 2
Full day guided tour: in the morning visit of Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel; in the afternoon visit of Imperial Rome including the Colosseum. Dinner on your own.
Day 3
Free day in Rome. Explore and discover the city on your own. Your tour guide will surely suggest the right places to visit. Dinner on your own.
Day 4
Early breakfast and departure to Naples.
Meet the local guide on arrival for a panoramic tour of Naples by bus. Proceed to Pompeii, free time for lunch and guided tour of the archaeological sight. At the end of the visit transfer to Sorrento, accommodation at a four star hotel. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 5
Free day in Sorrento. Possible optional excursion to Capri to be arranged by the tour guide. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 6
After breakfast, transfer to Assisi, visit of the Basilica and free time for lunch. In the afternoon continue to Florence, accommodation at a local centrally located four star hotel.
Dinner at hotel or nearby restaurant.
Day 7
Half day guided walking tour of Florence, including entrance to the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s statue of David. Afternoon free. Dinner on your own.
Day 8
Departure from Florence for a full day excursion to Siena and San Gimignano.Guided walking tour and free time for lunch in Siena. In the afternoon visit of San Gimignano. On the way back to Florence stop at a winery in the heart of the Chianti region, for a visit of the cellars and wine tasting. Dinner on your own.
Day 9
Transfer to Padova, free time for lunch on arrival.
In the afternoon meet the local guide for sightseeing tour of the Basilica of Sant’Antonio and the historic city center.At the end of the visit proceed to the nearby Venice. Accommodation at a good 4 star hotel located in Mestre. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 10
Full day excursion to Venice. Transfer to St. Mark’s square by private motorlaunch, 2 hours guided walking tour of Venice, including St. Mark’s basilica, the Doge’s Palace and the bridge of sighs. Afternoon free in Venice. In the late afternoon transfer back to the bus parking by motorlaunch, return to the hotel by bus. Dinner at hotel.
Day 11
Depart to Verona. On arrival meet the local guide for a half day walking tour of Verona. In the afternoon proceed to lake Como, accommodation in a good 4 star hotel of the area. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 12
Full day excursion to Milan. On arrival meet the local guide for a half day sightseeing tour of the city centre, including the famous Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper”. Afternoon free for shopping, Return to the hotel on lake Como. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 13
Day free for personal activities. Transfer to Como for farewell dinner with wine with a good local restaurant.
Day 14
Transfer to MXP airport for your return flight to US.
